Wamic Recreation Company evolved from an incredible group of outdoor enthusiasts who started Pheasant Ridge Members Club in the mid 1990’s as a way to preserve and enhance the hunting and recreational opportunities in Wamic.
In 2000, this same group formed Badger Creek Members’ Club, Inc. which has operated as a private hunting club through 2021.
With a new ownership group in 2022, Wamic Recreation Company was formed and has expanded to better integrate members and guests with the local resources and create enhanced wildlife ranch experiences. Entering his 27th season, Tyler Myers continues to manage the business affairs and operations while living in the area full time and guiding whenever possible.
Wamic Recreation Company maintains two licensed preserves and has exclusive hunting rights on other thoughtfully managed ranches nearby. These properties together provide unsurpassed upland bird habitat, exquisite lodging and accommodations and a wealth of opportunities to pursue a wide variety of outdoor activities.
We offer customized upland bird hunting and shooting packages that rival any other destination in the Pacific Northwest. It is our intent to continually improve and upgrade the facilities where needed and strive to provide the attention to detail that you deserve.

You can begin your adventure on your first afternoon either by shooting clays at an impressive 5-stand or Skeet course, or head out for some flyfishing on one of several lakes stocked with massive Kamloop rainbows. The following morning, after a delicious, homemade breakfast, your group will meet your guide out on one of our ranches to begin your 1/2-day hunt. Focusing on Upland birds, Wamic Recreation Company offers excellent opportunities for Pheasants, Chukars, and, at times, Valley Quail and Hungarian Partridge, using high caliber hunting dogs and professional guides. At the conclusion of your hunt, all of your birds will be processed and packaged for your departure while you enjoy a catered lunch.
Nestled on the east side of Mt. Hood, Wamic Recreation Company calls this hidden jewel in North-Central Oregon home. We can comfortably sleep 24 persons, utilizing 3 log homes, each gorgeously outfitted with an array of superb amenities, including hot tubs, BBQ’s, kitchen equipment, optional catered meals, and spacious outdoor decks with unparalleled views and impeccable scenery. We also welcome guests residing in close proximity to Portland or Bend who choose to drive out for a day of hunting. Come discover our little slice of heaven!
